Dream it achieve it

Wow What an AIMexperience:

Today was my first day in MM class of 2008. My dream of making it to this diverse batch of 44 middle managers from across Asia and Europe was fulfilled today. Diversity of our batch was the key differentiating factor.

I was attending class with Ex Finance Advisor to Orissa Govt. National Sales Manager of J&J, Finance manager of World bank, Senior Manager from Reliance, Sales Manager of BPCL,R&D Manager of DRL, Delivery Managers with Convergys, TCS and Sasken, one Priest two Marine engineers and two lawyers and Three police officers.

This by any means is a batch to envy with. Our average year of experience is 10 Years and total year of experience is more than 200 Years.

We are privileged to be taught by Professors with more than 100 Years of cumulative experience. One professor Dr. Roberto has Co-Authored books with Phillip Kottler; there is more about achievement of professors that I would write somewhere else.

I am lucky that I made the right decision to join this course. Masters in Management is the One Year MBA Program initiated in Year 1976 for industry champions with minimum work experience of Six years. This program is for middle managers who see themselves becoming General Manager of Midsize to a large organization.

This program is very intense with Sixteen Hours a day study, handling 2 Cases Per day and 500 Cases in one Year. Program derives its USP from following Leadership Trilogy that utilizes present day best management practices to groom the student become an effective leader by following, Adaptive, strategic and Inspirational leadership.

We were given study materials and three cases to prepare on our First day. I would discuss what we studied today in my next post.
